Larissa Modenesi is a New York based designer and versatile artist whose work is driven by ideas that bring together the original, the craftsmanship and the intellect. After graduating in both Advertising and Journalism in her native Brazil, Larissa worked as a Creative and Art Director for major accounts.
She built a solid portfolio and added a few years of experience under her belt before she decided to launch her own design company and a parallel brand devoted to exclusive jewelry design. Confident that she had found her true calling, the designer enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and moved to the Big Apple. She has since been surrounded by a team of artistic minds while creating visual concepts and brand strategies for a high profile, multinational clientele.
In NY, Larissa has collaborate in major design and art direction projects for clients on the order of Tiffany & Co, Karl Lagerfeld, DKNY, Salvatore Ferragamo, Tommy Hilfiger, Thierry Mugler, Theory, Lacoste, Jimmy Choo, Smashbox, Red Bull, Estée Lauder and T-Mobile.
Also among Larissa's projects are the collaboration with Branislav Jankic on Hearts of Men in photo and film, as well as the Mugler Spring/Summer 2012 campaign for French house Thierry Mugler under Nicola Formichetti's creative direction. Other works include exclusive textile design for Brazilian luxury brand Victor Hugo, a GQ, Vogue Japan and Interview Magazine editorials and various branding projects in collaboration with awarded NY agencies like Laird+Partners, Wednesday Agency, MediaCom and Moving Image & Content.
With an artistic background that ranges from brand identity to film, Larissa's expertise extends far beyond traditional advertising. In love with her craft, she constantly seeks endeavors that incorporate applied aesthetics and originality.
